Across the Alps vs Platybel

A Concept piece for a Centaur Jaeger and an Elephant based Kaiju.

"Across the Alps" is based off of Hannibal's crossing the Alps, I also threw in some Centurion and Knight elements. It was tricky with the legs, being a quadrapedal Jaeger, trying to figure out the piloting system is more complicated than I realised. So I'm going to design a two-legged mode. I'll figure out the kind of core and such later on.


"Platybel" is taken from the word "Platybeladon", an ancestor to Elephants. But when I tried designing a head that was closer to a Platybeladon it just didn't fit. For an ability I'm thinking Godzilla-esq fire breathing. Possibly Hydrogen or another highly combustible gas that is stored in the sack on it's chest.


This took me about 2 days to do, all in photoshop. And after each time I worked on it I looked like I had a rough Drift experience. ( Really blood shot eyes )
